A collector of rarities, Stephen Symchych holds an MPPM from Yale as well as an MSt in US History from the University of Cambridge. His MSt dissertation was titled “The Decline of Federalism in Boston as Witnessed and Experienced by John Gallison, 1807-1820” and prepared under the supervision of Dr Nicholas P Cole at Oxford.
He is now a candidate for a DPhil in History at St Antony’s College, Oxford, under the supervision of Dr Cole. His research focuses on political identity among Massachusetts men and women in the early Republic. He is also co-founder of the OxEARS seminar (oxears.org).
